Congratulations to our DHS Wrestlers on their accomplishments at State!! Alex P. placed 3rd, Sam S. placed 5th & Skylar H. gained state experience. Way to bring home the hardware Gorillas!!

 

FYI: Spring sports practices start on March 2nd.

 

FFA is collecting blankets for Sally’s House (an emergency foster care facility). We are looking for new or slightly used blankets. Donations need to be dropped off at the high school by 2/28/20 in Mr. Hargrave’s room.

 

Baseball, Tennis, Softball, Golf & Track sign-up at the office. If you’re planning to be part of track this spring you need to get your name on the list!!

 

FYI: DHS Blood Drive March 2nd 12:00 – 3:30 at the blood bus in the horseshoe. You can make an appointment to donate at www.vitalant.org

Spokane Motor School will offer a spring session of Driver’s Ed…they need to know that we have enough students interested in a class before they will commit to offering this session. Please contact them at 509-326-6181 to sign your student up.

 

Seven Bays is taking applications for Dockhands, Servers, Houseboat Cleaners and more for the summer season, with positions available for ages 16 and up!  Visit guestservices.com to apply and see Ms. Hawley with your questions.

 

Juniors - we will be giving the SAT here at Davenport on March 25th!!  Sign up with Ms. Hawley no later than Wednesday, February 19th.  This will be the only school-day opportunity until next fall, with Saturday testing opportunities in Spokane to follow in May and June.

 

Students - the last day to make any changes to our AP order is March 13.  If you have transferred in or out of an AP class or wish to make any changes to the order we placed in November, please contact Ms. Hawley ASAP.  Late order and cancellation fees apply.
