Welcome to Davenport!
Davenport is a rural community with an agricultural tradition centering around wheat farming and cattle ranching. We are the Lincoln County seat and are located about 45 miles from a major city, Spokane. Our community economics and character are impacted by our location at the intersection of three highways and our proximity to Lake Roosevelt. In addition to the school district, primary employers include Lincoln Hospital, the Lincoln County Courthouse, other government offices, and several thriving local businesses. Our rural school community is comprised of socio-economic diversity, religious diversity, and a variety of post-high school aspirations that inspire our staff to find ways to challenge and support a wide range of students.
