RAUGUST:

  • Finish Hatchet slide show and screencastify.

    • Finish working on your missing assignments and Alex's chapters 1-12.

HANSEN:

  • 6TH GRADE SCIENCE:

    • TedEd Choice/Qs; GoogleMeets; Check Skyward & make sure ALL work is done/turned in

  • 7TH GRADE SCIENCE:

    • TedEd Choice/Qs; GoogleMeets; Check Skyward & make sure ALL work is done/turned in.

  • 8TH GRADE SCIENCE:

GRAHAM:

  • 6TH GRADE SCIENCE:

    • Continue working on your Google Slides project for the Volcano Research project. This needs to be shared with me by Friday June 5th.

  • 7TH GRADE MATH:

    • Continue working on your Tiny House Projects. These will be shared with me at our google meet on Friday June 5th at 9:00 am. If you do not attend the google meet you will need to share this with me on your own. You will need to take several pictures of your house, along with the area and perimeter page, and student reflection page.

  • COMPUTERS/CAREERS:

    • Continue working on the typing.com program. Report your progress to me!

EDWARDS:

  • 7TH GRADE ENGLISH:

    • Complete the slides for the End of Year classmate slideshow. Watch the explanation video first on google classroom. Be sure to check skyward for any missing assignments since this is your last week to complete them.

  • HUMANITIES:

    • You will finish category 7 for your country slideshow.

OLIVER:

  • 7TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES:

    • Finish the Crusades and the Magna Carta, then begin the bubonic plague. Due Friday. (45 min.)

  • 8TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES:

    • Continue the Civil War assignment. Due June 10.

WARD:

  • MATH 8:

    • Students need to pick one task from the Choice Board in Google Classroom

VP:

  • A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words--Extra Credit (due Friday, June 5)


  • For your final farewell to 8th grade and Davenport Middle School, please either take a picture, draw a picture, or find a picture that represents what you are most proud about or what was one of your best memories regarding your grade 6, 7, and/or 8th grade year(s) at DMS. Copy/paste the picture onto a Google doc and add a caption to help me understand what made that memory so special.
